Joseph River Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir 2023

TASTING NOTES 

Made in the traditional method from Chardonnay (87%) and Pinot Noir (13%). This fine sparkling wine is dry with a creamy texture and tastes of white fruits, nougat and nutty biscuit.

WINEMAKING

The Chardonnay was handpicked on 8th of February with the Pinot Noir picked nine days later. Specialised sparkling yeast 18/2007 was used to conduct the ferment and the wine was matured on gross lees for seven months in stainless steel tanks before tirage mid-October 2023 leading to the final fermentation in bottle.
